Teff Breakfast Patties

Meat doesn't taste good until you season it with plants! These Teff patties are like a breakfast sausage that you can enjoy without the meat or highly processed ingredients!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked Teff

  • 1/2 cup Chickpea Flour

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

  • 1 tbsp Red Peppers, diced

  • 1  tbsp Green Peppers, diced

  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder

  • 2 tsp Ground Sage

  • 1 tsp Fennel Powder

  • 1 tsp Oregano

  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

  • 1 tsp Basil

  • 1/2 tsp Dill

  • 1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper

  • Grapeseed Oil

Instructions
  1. On a medium-high heat, saute onions and peppers in about 1 tablespoon of grape seed oil for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Adding in the chickpea flour last, combine remaining ingredients and sauteed vegetables in a large bowl and mix well.

  3. On a medium heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of grape seed oil to a skillet.

  4. Form teff mixture into patties and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until crispy.
