Simple Plant Based Mac and "Cheese"

Who doesn't love mac and cheese!? Well how about that yummy mac and cheese but with tons of natural healthy nutrition?! You'll love this recipe for it's simplicity and it's ability to please the whole family! Enjoy!

  • 1 pack of 12oz Kamut or Chickpea spirals

  • 1/2 lb Raw Brazil Nuts

  • 1/4 cup Chickpea Flour

  • tsp Grapeseed Oil

  • 2 tsp Onion Powder

  • tsp Sea Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Annatto

  • 1/2 lime

  • 1 cup hemp milk

  • 1 cup water

    1. Prep box of spirals according to package instructions.

    2. Preheat oven to 350°F

    3. To make the brazil nut sauce, pour all of your ingredients into a blender and blend for about 3 minutes or until creamy.

    4. Put your pasta in a baking dish and add a little grapeseed oil to the pasta so the sauce will not stick to the bottom.

    5. Cover the pasta with the brazil nut sauce and mix together well.

    6. Place your pasta into the oven for 30 minutes at 350°F
