2 cups dates, pitted

1 1/2 cup water
Instructions

Soak dates in the water for at least 30 minutes beforehand. Remove dates from water and set water aside for later.

Puree dates in a blender. Add a few tablespoons of the water and continue to blend until the spread is creamy. Not all of the water will be used.
