These lovely teff brownie treats will take care of that sweet craving without leaving you feeling like you just committed a nutritional sin! So easy to make and with a much healthier selection of ingredients.

1 cup Teff Flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup ground flax seeds

1/2 cup water

1 cup coconut sugar

1/4 cup avocado oil

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp salt

3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Oil an 8 x 8 inch brownie pan.

Add flax seeds, water, coconut sugar, avocado oil, vanilla, and salt together in a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix. Then mix the teff flour and cocoa powder in a small mixing bowl.

Then add the two bowls together in the medium sized mixing bowl along with 1/2 cup of the optional walnuts.

Scrape the batter out into your pan and spread evenly. Spinkle remaining 1/4 cup walnuts on top and press lightly into the batter. Bake for 30 minutes
